I am currently working as a General English teacher at Shenzhen Polytechnic College. I work with large groups of freshman college students. I teach grammar, tenses, functional language, vocabulary, and language for everyday use. I create a motivating and varied learning environment by using games, group work, and presentations to assist my students learning.


I have experience in private tutoring. I have tutored friends and acquaintances from Maldova and Russia, generally on a one-to-one basis. I have helped my students improve their English grammar and fluency.

I also have vast experience in tutoring students in Irelands national language, Irish. I assisted students in preparing for their state exam in this subject.

I have volunteered as a Special Needs Assistant in an English and Maths summer camp for several years. My focus was helping children (aged 8-12) improve their reading comprehension and grammar.
