Self-introduction:
Personal Statement
I am a creative person and have a diverse range of skills to offer. I am intelligent and have a love of learning so the ability to learn new things in a work setting is important to me.
I thoroughly enjoy finding and implementing solutions to problems, either in a team setting or alone, I enjoy communication in any form and have a natural ability to successfully impart knowledge to others.
My background of having a Deaf parent has given me a good appreciation of the difficulties faced by students of a 2nd language.
I have been teaching mostly Chinese students for just over 9 years, 7 of those years in China, and I enjoy the challenges and experiences that living in China brings. Also my diverse background
allows me an appreciation for nuance.
