As a teacher of English, history, and literature, I strive
to help my students achieve excellence in target
areas and all walks of life. Taking an individual
approach to each student, I integrate drama, music,
and critical thinking into daily lessons so students
can employ multiple modalities to pursue their
learning goals. Over the years, I've found that
students learn best when target skills are presented
in multiple contexts, from the academic to the social.
In addition to routine lessons I often initiate
extracurricular activities and informal conversation
clubs, prompting students to integrate English usage
into their daily lives as well as stimulating excitement
and rapport. Alongside teaching duties, I've
developed flexible curricula and assessment
rubrics for multiple skill levels and learning objectives.
