I am presently teaching English and Performing Arts grades 6 – 10 using the Atlantic New Brunswick curriculum to international students at the International School Nanshan Shenzhen in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, China.

My contract ends June 30, 2016 and because I will be turning 70 this year, I will be looking for a different teaching job.

The success that I have had as an International Baccalaureate teacher of English as a second language and most recently, of performing arts, can be largely attributed to my ability to communicate effectively with people of all ages and in all situations. Inclusion has been one of my noted strengths.

I started teaching English in Suzhou, Jiangsu, China, at a Canadian school in February of 2012. Then, I taught in a Canadian school in Ganzhou, Jiangxi, in 2013- 2014. Most recently, I have spent the last 1.5 years teaching English and Performing Arts in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province.

I have teaching certificates from Manitoba, British Columbia, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia and New Brunswick. I also have my Masters in Education.
