Self-introduction:
Because of my long music background since I was a young child myself, I feel that my music expertise and knowledge is vast and impressive. I spent three years in the 74th United States Army Band. My wife encouraged me to go back and finish my music education degree back in 2001. I graduated with a 3.95 GPA and I have been teaching in public school systems for the last 13 years. I have also taught music privately for 35 years or better.
It is doubtful that any music teaching jobs would be available, so I want to put my English speaking and writing skills to work here in China.
Additional Information
Because I am already in China, it should make finding an English teaching job in southern China. However, I am hitting one snag. My age.
In the USA, it is against the law to discriminate using age as a factor in hiring. In China, there is no such law. So please, keep this in mind about me:
I have always maintained an excellent rapport with my students, and never once did my age affect my teaching. I look and feel young and I think young and progressively. My students have also recognized this about me.
