Dear Sir / Madam,

It is a great honour for me to share my knowledge and experience with Chinese students who are full of enthusiasm, passion and determination. In my brief introduction, I am already masters from the UK with rich experience and currently serving as a “foreign teacher” in one of the most renowned schools “Chifeng er zhong Middle & High School No. 2”. I have a different philosophy towards teaching because I always try to motivate and inspire my students instead of putting them into further academic burden. To teach the kids be a kid, to teach high school students be their friend. A teacher must have decent sense of humour, having a smile on the face and must adopt a real approach to transfer the knowledge. I always try to make my lessons related to practical applications. For instance, they are going to a supermarket, now all the sub-departments they must know in English including some trolleys, basket etc. They must know about different “Genres” of films in order to have a healthy discussion with each other. They must know about physical activities and many such lively topics. I always include visualizations in the form of GIFs and short videos because the words must enter the sub-conscious mind to retain them forever.

Extra-curricular activities are essential to build-up a versatile person. Having a balanced performance in both academic and extra-curricular activities is quite frequent recently. However, we can only inspire and motivate our students if a teacher would have been performing in extra-curricular activities too. In China, I have been vigilantly active in writing competitions and have won some competitions organized by China Daily and other prominent media groups. I have a great inclination towards photography therefore; I always participate in different competitions and so far have won many. I always do video editing that also helped me a lot in order to edit videos during PPT and I have won a competition by Nanjing University on “Energy Conservation”. One of my photos has also won a prize in Raleigh USA related to promoting Nanjing culture. I have been a part of many international cultural activities including cultural representation through photos and being a part of various cultural trips because peregrination has been an integral part of my life. Whenever I share my experience with my students who are my friends indeed, they always appreciate and become excited and become dedicated to perform like me that is the best compliment I can have.

Apart from that, I like sketching, painting and I like Chinese cultural activities including Beijing Opera Mask painting and keenly involve in Chinese festivals and making a short documentaries about such festivals. I have been keenly involved in volunteering activities and I have been sharing my knowledge and ideas with students and their respectful parents which must be the core obligation being a foreign teacher.

I strongly believe that teaching must come up with character and I feel proud because I always keep myself away from smoking, alcoholic beverages and other bad habits that might have potential bad effects on students. I keep a healthy lifestyle because I am a diet conscious person and keep my home always organized. I belong to a noble family and I always consider the family values first. I always keep good memories in the form of photos and videos that shows a lively character.

Finally, in all the previous positions I have held, I have approached them as opportunities for career advancement and discovery. I will bring the same entrepreneurial spirit and value added vision to your school.
