Let me begin by introducing myself as a tri-linguist with a native-like fluency in English and a BA degree in English and American studies obtained from the University of Vienna writing you to express my great interest in the English Teaching position, preferably in Xiamen or Sanya in China.

It is also worth mentioning that I have completed a two-semester course in Teaching English as a Foreign Language in my native country as one of my alternative study programs, which enabled me to gain a profound insight into the effective teaching techniques and methods, as well as some practical experience in teaching high school students.

As far as my teaching experience is concerned, for the past two years, I have been occasionally working with native English speaking children as an Elementary School Substitute Teacher at the American International School of Vienna. Moreover, within the period from April 2017 until April 2018, I was delivering in-company English lessons to a small group of up to 5 participants in a visual media company, which significantly strengthened my organizational and interpersonal skills. I was also privately teaching English mostly to adults in an individual one-on-one setting for almost five years. My focus as an English Tutor/ Instructor was primarily on the conversational and presentation skills, as well as on effective writing methods and grammar rules implemented within a conversation.

I might also consider my experience in acting whilst living in Los Angeles and my acquired American accent as a great asset to the teaching job.

Therefore, I strongly believe that I would be both intellectually and emotionally prepared to face new situations and challenges as one of your English Teachers with a strong sense of cultural sensitivity, enthusiasm and commitment.
