Having worked for nearly 10 years in Scotland's international tourism trade, I developed a better understanding of both what I wanted and what I enjoyed. Many of my positions throughout my teenage years involved constant communication with tourists from every corner of the globe and working extensively with children in playful environments. This, coupled with an in-depth understanding of the english language gained through my studies, contributed to me pursuing a career overseas in China. Not only did this allow me to experience other parts of the world, but it granted me the opportunity to involve myself in foreign language education. Having the ability to laugh at myself and not take things too seriously has granted me huge immunity from most of the day-to-day stresses associated with early education. I look now to further this career within China and continue to influence a future generation.
