I studied Ecology in Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia and at the same time I’ve started teaching kids English. I’ve been teaching English for 7 years by now. For the last couple years I’ve also worked as an interpreter in USA and travel guide across Russia.
I work as a personal tutor with people from 6 to 43 years old now. Also I work in the kindergarten with 3-8 y.o. kids. During my lessons I speak only English. I also use facial expressions, body language, games, simple songs with movements etc. All that keeps children confused for couple weeks. After that they get used to NOT hearing their own language all the time and start actually learning the language. Understanding is so much more important than drilling.
For the last 2 years I’ve visited about 10 countries. I enjoy talking and listening to people with different anything (cultures, preferences, opinions). It helps to create a bigger and brighter picture of the world around me.
I’m not a native speaker but I’m sure that my English is good. I’ve passed TOEFL couple years ago and it declared the same thing. I’m looking for a contract as an English teacher for people from 5 to 99 years old.
