It is with great enthusiasm that I submit my application towards a teaching vacancy. I believe that my passion for education coupled with my diverse skills which include but are not limited to effective communication, interactions with people from all walks of life, patience, commitment and the desire to mould enquiring minds, will adequately equip me in any position I occupy. I have completed my Bachelor of Education Degree (B.Ed) Senior and Intermediate Phase and completed my SACE (South African Council of Educators) registration. Whilst pursuing my B.Ed Degree, I completed my education practicals at ST Anthony’s Primary in Durban. I have taught at Sunbeam Primary School and Charles Hugo Primary School in Durban. My duties entailed managing a classroom of 40 learners between the grades of 4 - 9. I am a well organised and responsible individual with great teaching skills. I sincerely enjoy and thrive in an environment where no two work days are exactly the same. I work extremely well under pressure which has attributed to my ability to transfer knowledge to learners successfully. My strengths reside in my passion for education, good ethics/moral practice as well as strong IT skills. The personal development courses and extensive sales training courses that I have successfully completed have shaped me into an entrepreneurial team oriented person as well who thrives in a high-energy, fast-paced environment, always willing to take on board new ideas and to develop them further, and am a great team player.
