Dear Sir or Madam
I am writing this letter to apply for the English teacher at your organization. I believe that my strong educational background and extensive experience in teaching make an appropriate candidate for the advertised position. I started to learn English when I was in the second form. When I finished the eleventh grade I entered Ussuriysk State Teachers’ Training Institute, now Far Eastern Federal University. As you can see in the enclosed resume, I have been working as an English teacher for 6 years, including one on one tutoring.
In my lessons I use a lot of games and interesting activities. It is fun to teach young children when they try to speak English, which is not their first language. I also love teaching adults, who come to study English and do their best to succeed. I had experience with teaching all age groups.
On the previous posts I have been always receiving excellent feedback from my employers, which proves my strong commitment to perform my responsibilities in professional and effective manner. I like to work in a team, but I am also comfortable working on my own.
I want to continue teaching English in China, because I have some basic knowledge of Chinese and I want to learn more Chinese language and more about Chinese culture, because during this past year I haven’t had much opportunity to do it, although I worked and lived in China. I perceive this employment opportunity as a significant advancement in my career. I believe that work in your school can be a good environment to show off my full potential and utilize my skills and knowledge. In that line I am looking forward to your call for an interview.
Yours sincerely,
Vyacheslav Mikhailov
