Responsibilities:

• Coached Under 9, 11 and 14 age groups alongside another coach

• Assisted development of the programme and led many drills and activities

• Collecting and recording fees, feeding back to parents and general health and safety

• Managed teams at tournaments

• Coached an adults team as the only coach

• Developed skills, introduced and embedded complicated tactics and ultimately led my team to win the area cup final in May 2013

• Had to select teams, arrange travel and lead communications and promotion

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

I am a sport science graduate from Loughborough University. I am self-motivated, determined and hard- working when faced with various challenges. I am organised, time-efficient and committed and have demonstrated the willingness and ability to take on responsibility. As well as working well independently, I have shown to be a strong team player, including as a leader, both in the workplace and in my sporting pursuits and community activities.

SKILLS

• Team work: I enjoy working in a team environment in a support role and have shown I can also lead. I am also happy to work independently.

• Customer focus: I have a lot of experience in customer focused employment and have excelled in that area. I enjoy being with and helping people.

• Leadership: Helping people to learn new skills.

• Organising: I organised an after school club, to encourage and support girls into sport. I have organised many sport teams at different age groups.

• Decision-making: I developed the coaching programme, selected players for tournaments, and spent club funds on equipment, promotion and travel.

• Motivating: I worked hard to get less sporty girls into sport motivating them by selecting sports to meet their interests. I led an adult korfball team to win an area cup final against a more experienced and higher-ranked club.
