oRoles
§March 2016 to present – Data and Systems Manager. I have been subtle in my approach to the time management as the brief is wide. My focus often shifts due to the business need. For example, I recently installed and oversaw the systems for three new site openings. Whereas, in the week of writing, I am updating the data catalogue for company’s Business Intelligence tool in anticipation of the new financial year. I also manage the IT support technician

·My passion for China started in my late school days. During my time at university, I lived in China for over 12 months. This was split into 10 months in Beijing and a further two months in Tianjin a year later. I have since been back to Shanghai for a month to improve my level of Chinese. On this trip my girlfriend, now fiancé, joined me. This sowed the seeds for our current move. My level of Chinese has ebbed since living in England and I am greatly looking forward to reviving it and improving upon my previous level
·I successfully completed and passed the rigorous Army Officer Selection Board, which allowed me to attend Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. I chose a civilian life instead.
