My educational credentials include a Master of Education Counseling (MEd.Counselling) degree, a Bachelor of Science Honours Psychology (BSc. Honours Psychology) degree, CELTA certificate, certificate in student counselling advising (from British council) and a Registered Nurse diploma. In addition, I have pursued several professional development initiatives including workshops and attendance based certificates. Detailed in CV.

In a teaching capacity, I have a total of five (5) of teaching experience including general classroom subjects and college lecturer EFL/ESL instruction. At the college level, I have served as an ESL/EFL instructor/Lecturer both in Canada and Oman. In Oman, I taught both in the English Foundation and English Post Foundation programs with the Ministry of Manpower and Ministry of Higher Education, respectively. In addition, and relevant to working with young adult students, I served as an instructor in two semesters teaching an undergraduate level psychology course to adult learners registered in a counseling certificate program (term contract position).

In terms of additional skills and contributions I can offer the students of BUC I am a Master of Education (MEd.) prepared graduate with extensive knowledge and work experience in counseling and advisory related duties and responsibilities. I believe I can offer student advising that supports student achievement and success.
