• This job involved running the bar alone as well as taking care of stock control, placing a high level of responsibility on ones hands. Building a good ethos with customers and good bar experience were vital for this role
Extra Curricular Positions of Responsibility
Radio
• Produced own live university radio show through the society Fresh Air. Organisational skills, creativity and technological competence were essential for this activity.
Sport
• An active sportsman participating for the Geo Soc Football and Cricket team at Edinburgh University highlighting efficient teamwork skills.
Travel
• A keen traveller who enjoys experiencing and learning about different cultures. I have travelled throughout Europe and have also spent time in Japan highlighting that I am an independent, adaptable person who embraces new challenges.
Sociology
• 3rd and 4th year Sociology course and class representative. In this role I liaised between students, lecturers and directors of studies to try and make improvements to the course. Leadership, communication and organisational skills were essential for this role as well as a positive, approachable personality.
