Work Experience:

This diverse, curriculum development and kindergarten English teaching internship program and subsequent employment experience has been and continues to be challenging and very rewarding experience in teaching; educating children at various age groups and levels and absorption of the rich culture of China. I have experience working at four different kindergartens in both Beijing and Suzhou.

My role in this position is multifaceted; teaching English, lesson preparation and drawing up detailed lesson plans and helping to establish an innovative play-based and project-based learning curriculum which mirrors the holistic education pedagogy of Reggio Emilia and Montossori method . The process of designing and developing this curriculum includes self motivated autonomous research of various pedagogical methods and theories of child development, language learning; creating and refining a methodology for teaching (and inspiring) environmental awareness .
