Introduction

I hereby write with regards to the teaching post in your institution. My interest in working with students and my teaching experience in communication make me a suitable candidate for this position. My studies are helping me further my know-how in teaching and facilitation. My experience in teaching English has equipped me with the practical realities of the profession which has enabled me to continue to grow to be the excellent teacher that I always aspired to be.

I have interacted with diverse students and engaged them in learning English as a Second Language. Using learner centred teaching methods, multiple means of assessment and instruction, as well as the careful modelling and scaffolding of communication skills, I always ensure that students realise full potential and strive for excellence. My methodologies, psycho and socio pedagogies utilize available technology, giving learners education with relevance in the competitive global world.

In my teaching-learning interactions, every lesson presents an opportunity for growth both to the educator and learner. Self evaluation and assessments help me to examine my teaching methods to ensure that my students benefit. I strive to embrace all opportunities to develop students’ learning in order to facilitate individualised learning within a safe environment.

I have a varied employment experience and believe that my professional knowledge and skills together with my personal qualities make me an ideal candidate for this job. My communication skills and professional approach to teaching have added to the progress that I have enjoyed so far in my long teaching experience. I am a passionate and enthusiastic individual who enjoys working with positive people who share the same aim in the teaching and learning enviromnent for the betterment of learners.

I consider myself to be hard working with solid work ethics. I exert maximum effort to ensure all given tasks are completed in time and to the acceptable standards. I possess diverse knowledge of the latest teaching pedagogies and resource usage. I am a good team player who possesses good inter-personal communication skills and the ability to handle pressure, and work efficiently when having to meet deadlines.
