A former CEO of Grey South Africa and President/CEO of Grey Canada, Ann Nurock is now the Africa Partner of Relationship Audits and Management, a global consultancy specialising in the measurement, risk mitigation and optimisation of B2B relationships. She also conducts talks and workshops on trends in advertising, marketing and communications.
Ann has over 25 years' global experience in the communications industry and spent 20 years with Grey Advertising where she became CEO of South Africa and Head of the Africa region, during which time, she together with her team, doubled the size of the agency,and took it to the number one agency within the Grey Global network. Grey SA was ranked amongst the top five agencies in South Africa. During this period she was appointed to the exco of Grey Europe, Middle East and Africa.
In 2008 she relocated to Toronto as President and CEO Grey Canada. After three years being involved in advertising and marketing in the Canadian, American and Latin American markets, she elected to leave the world of corporate advertising and return to South Africa to open the South African office of Relationship Audits and Management (RAM).
Ann has worked on some of the biggest local and global brands, providing total communication solutions as well as strategic advice to her clients. These have included Procter and Gamble, Nokia, RIM/BlackBerry, Visa, Mazda GlaxoSmithKline, Barclays Bank, Brandhouse, Diageo, Emirates Airline, AVI, Tiger Brands, Nampak and Mars Corporation amongst others.
She is the Africa partner of RAM, an international specialist consultancy that helps companies manage the risks associated with their strategic partner and stakeholder relationships, specifically helping them to minimise direct risk and maximise opportunities.
Ann has a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of the Witwatersrand and has been a member of many leadership/communication associations. She has also garnered numerous awards and has spoken at many conferences and business forums
